Leicester Mercury Sports Awards

Congratulations to not one, but two Loughborough High School students on winning at the Leicester Mercury Sports Awards 2019.

The prestigious event was held at the Leicester Tigers stadium on Thursday 16 January 2020 to celebrate the achievements of the best sports women and men in the region.

British Team swimmer, Year 13 Michaella, was awarded the Young Sportswoman of the Year and England and County Cross-country runner, year 11 Indienne was awarded the Junior Sportswoman of the Year.

Both gold medallists, this is much deserved by both athletes, who have trained and competed at a very high level throughout recent years. All at Loughborough High are very proud of the success of both students.
