A record number of Year 7 boys, 32 in total, have just returned from a very successful and enjoyable four day rugby tour to Blackpool. In conditions better suited to mud wrestling they played superb rugby against RGS Lancaster and Kirkham Grammar School, they also took part in the Leicester Grammar School sevens tournament. Saturday was spent enjoying the famous rollercoasters at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, other activities included ten pin bowling and a visit to the Sandcastle leisure pool.
The boys were magnificent ambassadors for the school. Several of the people we met commented favorably on their excellent behaviour and good manners.
