34 Year 7 rugby players have just returned from the annual four day Tour of Blackpool. The Tour started with the Leicester Grammar Sevens tournament, where our A team performed superbly, only losing one match. On Friday we enjoyed two very competitive games against RGS Lancaster before returning to Blackpool and spending an exciting evening in the famous arcades. Saturday was spent at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, where a record number of 26 boys ride the Pepsi Max rollercoaster – an experience that they will remember for a long time! On Sunday we finished the tour with games against Kirkham Grammar School and an afternoon in the Sandcastle leisure pool.  The boys all enjoyed the Tour, played excellent rugby and were superb ambassadors for LGS. Many people who we met complimented the boys on their impeccable conduct and good humour.
