Each year Loughborough Grammar School honours Remembrance through marches and ceremonies, but 2018 was different, this year was the WW1 Centenary Remembrance Day.

Loughborough Grammar School teacher John Marsden created an interactive art installation to represent the previous pupils of Loughborough Grammar School, who were part of WW1. The annual gathering of students and staff on the quad took place where they collaboratively recited hymns and prayers, whilst honouring the fallen with the laying of wreaths.

On Remembrance Sunday the LGS CCF marched through Loughborough town centre to Queen’s Park, for the local Remembrance Service around the iconic Loughborough Carillion.
