University Offers Begin to Arrive for our Year 13 Students
As we reach the first half-term of the academic year, over 30% of boys in Year 13 have fully submitted their UCAS application for entry to degree-level study in September 2025.
The conscientious planning and preparation of students who have submitted applications, as well as the support and guidance they have received from our Director of Future Pathways and our highly experienced Sixth Form team, has resulted in the early receipt of our first offer.
Three days earlier than last year, our first offer for 2025 entry came from the University of Warwick for a place on their Data Science course.
Since then, we have received a further 24 offers from universities across the country including the University of Bristol, University of Birmingham, University of Nottingham, University of York, and Newcastle University.
Director of Future Pathways, Sarra Jenkins, notes how “incredibly proud” she is of boys who have worked hard to submit UCAS applications well in advance of the deadline.
The quality of applications this year has so far been outstanding, with some students already holding more than one offer from their chosen universities.
Offers have been made to study a variety of courses ranging from Chemical Engineering to Computer Science and Pharmacology to History and Spanish.
We look forward to seeing more offers roll in with the start of the new half-term and couldn’t be prouder of how hard our students are working on their applications.
