GCSE Design and Technology students, Owen and Kaelin, were selected as two of the twenty-one finalists to the Triumph Design Awards recently. This national competition challenges pupils to create a solution that solves a ‘real-world’ problem. Presenting their ideas to Senior and Chief engineers from the Triumph Design Department, making the finals is an excellent achievement alone. Owen, however, furthered this accomplishment by being awarded the Overall Winner for the GCSE category, earning him a bespoke trophy, cash prize and a day’s work experience at their factory. Excellent work!
