Having gained a BSc and PhD in Biochemistry from London University, I taught in four different schools around the country, including two state grammar schools, before being appointed Deputy Head academic at LGS in 2008. The common theme of all these schools is that they were all single sex boys' schools - as I am a firm believer in the importance of single sex education. In 2016 I moved from looking after the academic life of the school to being responsible for the day to day smooth running of LGS. I have twin daughters who are also in the Foundation 'family' - and will be moving from Fairfield to the High School in September.
