Sixth Form here is an all-encompassing, life-enhancing experience of personal development, involvement and leadership. Skills which are gained within an environment of enveloping pastoral care and in which your fellow students are your enthusiastic supporters, and your friends. We encourage boys to develop attributes well beyond their curriculum. After all, there are no A levels in humility, teamwork and empathy.
Sixth Formers play an active role in many aspects of school life, from running their own Sixth Form Committee to House Leadership, mentoring younger children, running clubs and societies, community and charitable involvement, CCF roles and performance in Music, Drama and on the Sports field – all to the highest of standards.
And that’s not to mention a full calendar of events, balls, dinners, tours, trips and talks. Many are organised in conjunction with the girls from the High School and Sixth Formers from Amherst school, both valuable members of the Loughborough Schools Foundation and who collectively add greatly to the richness of Sixth Form life on campus.
