Back to Private: Meet our Senior Boys

Hamzah

Deputy Head Boy

Having joined LGS in Year 10, I've felt that in just three years, the School has shaped me into who I am today. Without a doubt, the plethora of opportunities I've received has honed my personal skills as carefully as my academic ability. I am currently undertaking a mathematics-heavy A-level combination of Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, yet I've been able to maintain an interest in politics, English and drama. I now lead the senior debating society as Head of Motions and have co-directed an adaptation of 1984 for New Directors' Season. It was only because of my time at LGS that I developed a love of literature and language, something I will always be grateful for. I see the position of deputy head boy as a fantastic opportunity to improve the experience of everyone at LGS, from organising events that tie our community closer together to working alongside the pastoral team to prioritise pupil welfare.
