Deputy Head Boy

Having joined the School in Year 7 I have found school life throughout my seven years here to be both enjoyable and stimulating. Academically I have been pushed to achieve high exam results. On top of this I have been given opportunities to go beyond the curriculum, most notably in History, via essay competitions and History Extension. On the sports field I have represented the School at numerous different sports; having had the opportunity to play rugby on three tours from Blackpool to Cardiff and Dubai. I have also been a member of the Voluntary Service Unit within School - a superb endeavour that allowed me to build a great relationship with a local 90 year old lady whom never failed to inspire me with her numerous fascinating anecdotes.

This year I have been given the role of Deputy Head Boy; a role I am very grateful to have been chosen for. My role involves organising and planning Sixth Form events as well as working with the rest of the Prefect team to improve life around the School for all boys especially those in the Sixth Form.
