After a long day in the sunshine, the Year 7 boys won the Solihull 6s Plate Competition. They played 5 matches, beating RGS Worcester in the semi-final before defeating Bablake in the final. All eight boys deserve credit for their efforts on the hottest day of the year as everybody made a great contribution throughout the day.

This past week unfortunately saw the weather wash out the block fixture v KES Birmingham on Saturday 18 June, but several matches have still been played. Monday saw three close games with the U14A beating a strong Leicester Grammar team in the last over, the U14B team losing in the last over and the U15 team chasing 163 to beat Grantham.

On Thursday our U14 team welcomed Uppingham in the County Cup semi-final and despite a fine batting performance from Sam, the boys lost by eight runs in a well fought contest. Friday saw the 1st XI beat Ratcliffe by 130 runs with our Captain Aryan leading from the front with 76 not out.
