Leicester’s Young Artist of the Year

We are delighted to congratulate Year 12 Music Scholar Danushka for his two recent successes. He was awarded the Lord-Lieutenant of Leicester’s Young Artist of the Year prize last month and also won the string category of the prestigious Gregynog Young Musician competition with his performance on cello. Danushka’s brother and former Grammar School pupil Avishka was awarded the prize for the best accompanist.
