Mr Gurney is an alumnus of Loughborough Grammar School and he will be joining our coaching team from September focussing on cricket at all levels of the game and working as an elite athlete mentor. Mr Gurney was a pupil at Loughborough Grammar School where he represented the School at all cricket levels. In fact, he bowled his first cricket ball in the Grammar School sports hall! Harry is a 12-time England International bowler and took 628 wickets during his professional career, helping Notts win two One-Day Cup titles and the 2017 T20 Blast crown, as well as featuring in T20 competitions around the world.
