Housemaster

After graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2015, I joined Loughborough Grammar School aiming to inspire the next generation of Biologists. I am enthusiastic about wildlife and the natural world, so am delighted to teach in a classroom surrounded by the multitude of exotic animals that make up Beast Club. I spend much of my free time following sport, being a keen supporter of Sunderland AFC and having played cricket to a high standard for several years. Nowadays, you are more likely to find me in a coaching position, cheering on the boys from the touchline, having lost none of my competitive nature!

I am a strong believer that boys simply learn better when they feel valued and included, so in Pulteney House, pupils will find all the support they need to flourish as they progress through the school. They will be truly understood and celebrated as individuals, because we understand that what success means to each and every pupil has a completely different meaning. What pupils in our House have in common, is that they will all develop a strong sense of purpose; good social awareness and great confidence to tackle the numerous challenges which life throws their way.
