A new Head from September 2023

Loughborough Schools Foundation announced yesterday that Dr Daniel Koch will move on from his role as Headmaster of Loughborough Grammar School at the end of this academic year.
Dr Koch has made an undeniably positive contribution during his short time with the school, establishing a number of important cultural and operational changes, as well as playing a role in the development of the Strategic Plan, which will bring exciting and ambitious developments in the years to come. The Foundation appreciates Dr Koch’s contribution to the School and wishes him every success as he takes up a new role at Kimbolton School at the start of the next academic year.
The process of appointing a successor of Dr Koch is already underway, and the Governing Body has announced that to allow appropriate time for a robust search and appointment, the School will be led over the course of the next academic year by Mrs Helen Foster who will step up as Head (Designate) from the beginning of next term. As an established member of the Loughborough Grammar School Leadership Team in the role of Senior Deputy Head (Pastoral, DSL and Boarding), Mrs Foster brings a wealth of experience and continuity to the role.
