U11 Girls Hockey Tournament

On Wednesday 18 September, Fairfield hosted its annual U11 Girls Hockey Tournament. In glorious sunshine, all six teams enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of friendly, yet competitive, hockey. The Fairfield squad were put through their paces and had the opportunity to use the tournament as a platform for the season ahead. All the girls played some excellent hockey and it came down to the last minute of the final game, against Foremarke, to determine the outcome. Due to a superb save by our goalkeeper Holly, Fairfield secured a well-earned draw against Foremarke to win the tournament on goal difference. I am delighted with everyone’s performance and look forward to what lies ahead. A huge thankyou to all our supporters and to Mrs Webster for tournament officiating.
