U11 Girls Hockey Foremarke Tournament

On a very wet and overcast afternoon and still very much in half term mode, the hockey squad competed in the annual Foremarke Tournament. The competition was run as a round-robin format and saw a combination of schools and clubs taking part. Having had a couple of weeks off from school, the team took a little longer to get into their full stride but as the afternoon progressed the girls found their feet and went from strength to strength. The results are given below and I am delighted to report they came out as Tournament Champions. This was another great performance from all the girls in preparation for the forthcoming National Finals. It helped identify areas of strength and areas for further development over the next couple of weeks. Well played girls and as ever my thanks to the truly encouraging parental support.
