Children in Reception receive half an hour of Meaningful Movement throughout the year. They also receive half an hour of Gymnastic activities or Minor Games activities until Easter. These then change to Striking Games and Athletic activities in the Summer Term. These lessons are taught by subject specialists.

Children in Years 1 and 2 receive half an hour of Meaningful Movement throughout the year. They receive an hour of Minor Games, Gymnastics or Dance in the Autumn and Spring Terms. In the Summer Term the children engage in Striking Games and Athletic activities. All of these lessons are taught by subject specialists.

In the Upper Prep ( Years 3,4,5 and 6) children receive an hour of PE and an hour of Games each week.

Each class in Year 3 and 4 will also receive 40 minutes of swimming for 12 weeks of the year. This will reduce to 25 minutes for the half term pior to the Swimming Gala.Children in Year 5 and 6 alternate approximately every half term on Friday afternoons. Each class receiving 25 minutes pool time.
