Fairfield pupil wins at the Olympia Horse Show

Fairfield Year 5 pupil Connie and her pony Madonna, recently won the 128 Mistletoe Stakes at London Olympia International Horse Show. This particular class of Show Jumping that Connie entered is for riders age 12 and under, riding ponies 128cm and under.

Not only is it a privilege to ride at the Olympia International Horse Show, but it is also an even bigger privilege in Connie’s group, as only 12 riders qualify for the class at this competition. Connie, who has ridden for years, was 5th at the Horse of the Year show in October, which is where she qualified for Olympia.
On day 7 of the iconic Olympia International Horse Show, Connie and Madonna competed, and even though Connie was the youngest in her group, it didn’t hold her back. It is clear a lot of hard work and dedication has gone into Connie’s show jumping and it all pair off when she won the 128 Mistletoe Stakes.
