Fairfield Prep pupils visited the bees at Loughborough Grammar School yesterday as part of this term’s topic.

Budding apiarists at the Grammar School tend to the bees during Bee Club, a co-curricular club. The boys manage the bee hives and harvest the honey, which Fairfield prep pupils loved learning about.

They are currently learning about animals and lifecycles and later in the term they will focus on wild and endangered animals.
