Eggcitment in Reception

Reception children (and staff!) were so eggcited on Monday morning as 15 eggs arrived in an incubator! By Wednesday morning 5 little chicks had hatched and we are now pleased to report that we have 14 healthy happy chicks. Mrs Saperia has 7 chicks in her Science room and Reception have 7 chicks in their own brooder box in the spare classroom. Reception children have been keeping a chick diary each day and have already been able to hold our new feathered friends. We look forward to watching them grow next week and helping to take care of them.
