Dogs for the Disabled

Thank you to everybody involved in raising money for last term’s charity; Dogs for the Disabled. There were a host of activites to raise money in school and Miss Carter’s trek up Mount Everest during the easter holidays raised even more money!

In Friday’s assembly we were fortunate enough to meet Danielle, her mum Fiona and Stamper, Danielle’s assistance dog. Danielle explained how Stamper helped her and then gave a demonstration of some of the tasks Stamper could do. It was fantastic seeing Stamper in action and we were pleased to have raised lots of money for such a worthwhile cause.

Everybody should be proud of their fundraising efforts and should give themselves a big pat on the back for the £1597 raised.
