Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure
At the start of March, Loughborough Schools Foundation were proud to present ‘Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure’. Pupils from across the Senior Schools wowed the audience with their incredible talent on the stage and behind the scenes with those involved in the production team.
The entire musical was fascinating from the opening puppet scene to the fighting scenes. It was obvious how much hard work had gone into the entire production and it was just such a joy to watch.

"Peter Pan has been an amazing experience. From the wonderful cast and directors to the musicians and designers, I could not be more grateful to be part of this process. Through the laughs and more stressful moments, we have all persevered and worked together to try our hardest in producing something each and every one of us is proud of. It has been incredible, and we can't wait to perform!"
"I enjoyed working on the show because I got to learn fantastic choreography and amazing lines like 'father's a cowardly custard'! In the process I got to collaborate with experts and learn to play Michael. I auditioned for the role because I enjoy singing, dancing and the fact that all the school shows are fantastic, just like the cast. "
"Having been part of Animal farm last year, I knew I was going to audition for Peter Pan. Despite my lack of experience in singing - the amazing cast supported me, and each other, through it all. I am so proud to be a part of this performance and I hope to do it all again next year."
"Working behind the scenes at Peter Pan has been so rewarding for both of us. Being part of the artistic influences of the show and collaborating with all our peers has been truly enjoyable. Working on the costumes, we have been able to watch the show slowly build into what it is now. This is our final show at LSF, and we will dearly miss all the incredible people we have met and the unique experiences that have brought us close to them. Of course, we take with us the memories of the amazing shows we've taken part in over the years. We wish the cast the best of luck and hope the audience enjoys seeing the final costumes in all their glory."
"I've always loved doing musicals and I've very much enjoyed being able to join in with this year's senior musical in my last year at school. It's been pretty hectic, and at times crazy, but it's been a lot of fun rehearsing and seeing the magical land of Neverland emerge."
"I joined the school in September 2022 and the auditions were held in my third week here! I enjoy the thrill of performing, so I decided to audition. The teachers and the students I met during the auditions created the most welcoming atmosphere. For me, the best thing about the show is the support I've received from the cast and teachers. It definitely isn't easy to make a whole production happen but what you see is due to the hard work, commitment and talent shown in all aspects of the entire production, from the cast to the teachers, the musicians, the technical production, the set design and the costume design!"
