Class of 2012 celebrate!
On Saturday 11 June we welcomed back over 100 Loughburians from the Class of 2012 to celebrate their 10 year reunion.
We were thrilled to meet alumni from Our Lady’s Convent School, Loughborough Grammar School and Loughborough High School, who were also joined by former LGS Headmaster Paul Fisher and former OLCS Headmistress Patricia Hawley, as well as several other former and current members of staff.
This lively event, which included lots of laughter, began with tours of each of the schools led by the current Heads and included a first for the Grammar School alumni – a tour to the top of the Tower! Reception drinks in the LGS Quad were followed by a delicious meal in the Burton Hall, with a chance to reminisce over our archive collection which includes photos and memorabilia.
Many members of our alumni community support our current pupils in a variety of ways from volunteering their time to provide careers advice to donating to projects that help provide access to education, for example the Bursary fund. However you choose to be involved, you can make an enormous difference to todays’s pupils.
