Old Loughburians v Old Nottinghamians Golf Match – 16 October 2018

The match against the Old Nottinghamians was held at Longcliffe Golf Club on 16 October 2018. We were one player short so we had a single player against a pair which made it difficult from the outset. Our first and only female player, Pippa Arkle, started the first match with Stephen Hilton and they stormed home for a win with the 2nd match of Jonathon Carlisle & Stuart McQueen finishing the same way. Jonnie Soars and Razor Williams as well as Steve Foister weren’t so fortunate. We still managed a respectable draw, under the circumstances, but at 2-2 the Old Nottinghamians retained the trophy for the 2nd year in a row.
