I was appointed Assistant Head (Academic) in 2022 after starting as Head of Mathematics at Amherst School in June 2019. Prior to this, I worked at Nottingham University Academy of Science and Technology. I completed my first degree in Mathematics at Loughborough University and followed my passion to become a teacher. I accomplished my Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education through the University of Cambridge. I value continuous professional training and obtained NPQSL qualification in 2016.

My teaching ethos is believing that each student achieves their best potential through an engaging and interactive learning environment. I specialise in spotting talents and raise up future mathematicians. Outside of my working life I am married with two young children. As a family we enjoy travelling and exploring different cultures.
