This term, Year 6 are studying Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and to support their learning, on Tuesday, 28 February, the pupils enjoyed a magical trip to the Warner Brother’s Studio in London, where Harry Potter was filmed.

Pupils learned about the behind-the-scenes tricks and calculations that the crew used to scale up various items creating the illusion of giants and dwarfs. In the afternoon pupils headed to the Three Broomsticks for refreshments that included an obligatory Butterbeer, after which they visited the gilded, marbled, and glittering Gringotts bank before talking a stroll down Diagon Alley.
