U18 National Tennis Championships

This week, a few of our tennis players had tremendous success in the U18 Nationals Tennis championships at the National Tennis Centre.

Summary of results;

Luca is now National Champion in the Boys’ Singles. He won the Final 7-5 6-4, beating the number 1 seed.
Mimi and Talia were the 2 finalists in the Girls’ Singles Championship, with Mimi winning 6-4 7-5. (Mimi beat Ranah in the Semi Final too!)
Luca and Henry played together in the Boys’ Doubles Final and won 7-6 7-6 (2).
Mimi and Talia played together in the Girls’ Doubles Final against Given and her partner Millie (from Sterling). Given and Millie emerged victorious, winning 4-6 6-4 11-9.

Luca and Mimi will be given a wild card to the qualification round of Wimbledon (Senior) and the majority of our players will play at Wimbledon Juniors.

These results are really great and it show how good our Team LUNTA is!
