A Level

Psychology is essentially the study of people, the mind and behaviour. We study diverse areas such as obedience, attachment, memory, criminal behaviour and psychological disorders. Degree choices and careers include specialisms such as clinical, educational, forensic, counselling, sport, and occupational psychologists.

The course content is very interesting and you learn to develop key analytical skills, write and structure essays and complete psychological research. These skills are all relevant and transferable to the workplace with Psychology students known for their range of skills that employers require.

The A Level is assessed by three written exams with a mixture of multiple choice, short answer and essay questions.
