Senior School Production of Animal Farm

Audiences packed out the High School Drama Studio on Wednesday and Thursday evening this week as Foundation students from Years 11, 12 and 13 took to the stage to perform a superb production of Animal Farm by George Orwell.

Under the direction of Ms Boon, Head of Drama at LHS, the performances were full of wit, energy and menace and were supported by a fantastic crew and haunting music throughout. Costumes, make-up, lighting, sound, set build, stage management and of course the acting, were all excellent.

We were also delighted to be joined by members of George Orwell’s family, including his son, Mr Richard Blair, who commended the team for their superb performance.
