National Sport Week
Loughborough Amherst School is proud to be taking part in Youth Sport Trust National School Sport Week and is committed to promoting the wellbeing of all young people. The wet weather is not dampening the spirits of the Year 4 and 5 pupils today in their preparation for sports day!
Pupils at Amherst have been achieving well above National average hours in extracurricular physical activity clubs and competitions.

Yr 11 – 62%
Yr 12 – 63%
Total = 87% of pupils have taken part in competitive sport in at least one sport. (National average is 26.1% – taking part survey 2017)
