Half-Term Highlights: February 2025

From Lunchtime music concerts to engaging lessons in our Prep School and Culture Week fun, our pupils have been involved in a range of exciting activities this half-term.
Lunchtime Live Continues to Thrive
Lunchtime Live sessions give Senior School musicians the opportunity to gain valuable performance experience as each week, a range of talented soloists, duets, groups and ensembles take to the stage to put on a fantastic concert full of musical variety.
Prep School Adventures
Our Prep School pupils have been engaging with a varied curriculum across the course of this half-term. To spotlight just a few examples, Year 2 have been learning to write and perform poetry as well as learning the four different compass directions! Whilst Year 6 have been recreating the structure of the Earth through plasticine models, taking part in exciting science experiments and have also received their Bunsen burner licenses.
Shakespeare Workshop
In collaboration with the Loughborough Schools Foundation, Senior School students enjoyed taking part in the Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation workshop designed to support them in their upcoming performance of Much Ado About Nothing. The session focused on mastering Shakespearean dialogue and exploring the character’s’ motivations. We’re looking forward to watching the performance at the Curve this March!
