Mr Emyr Lewis featured image

Before joining Loughborough Grammar School, Mr Lewis was a professional Rugby player for over 10 years. His particular specialism was 7s where he represented Wales on the IRB 7s circuit and was their Captain. His leadership shone through and he became Great Britain 7s Captain at the World Games in Japan in 2002. Mr Lewis represented the Barbarians side twice and played at Bedford Blues and Exeter Chiefs. Since his retirement from professional rugby Mr Lewis has taken to coaching and he is a Level 2, 3 and 4 RFU rugby coach and he also continues to work with the high-performance rugby players at Loughborough University.
