Congratulations to all Amherst students today on their excellent A Level results. 24% of students received A*/A grades and one student achieved 3 A*’s and secured her place at Oxford.

Headmaster, Dr Julian Murphy, said:

“We are delighted with our A Level results, which show an improvement on last year’s results on nearly every measure. In particular, it is great to see 24% of grades at A*-A, and just over 88% of grades at C or above.

 “We are especially delighted for Elizabeth, who has achieved straight A* grades and will be taking up a place to study Music at Magdalen College Oxford in the autumn.”
