Deputy Head Academic
Having completed my undergraduate degree in Pure Mathematics at Loughborough University, I went on to complete my Post-Graduate Certificate in Education at Homerton College, Cambridge and subsequently a Masters of Education in Mathematics. I embarked on my teaching career with the goal of empowering and inspiring young minds to reach their academic potential.
I have experience in both the maintained and independent sectors, particularly in STEM pedagogy. I am a strong advocate of continuous development and have completed the National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership.
I joined Loughborough Amherst School as Head of Mathematics and later assumed the role of Deputy Head Academic, responsible for the day-to-day academic running of the school.
Outside of school, I enjoy leisurely strolling through the English countryside and exploring different parts of the world. I also enjoy visiting live theatre and musical shows in the capital city.
