Loughborough Amherst School is looking to appoint a Head of Modern Foreign Languages to commence in September 2024. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified graduate with the ability to teach throughout the school up to Sixth Form. The department teachers both French and Spanish and so would look to appoint a candidate who specialise in either language. The department teaches students from all year groups; from Year 1 up to Year 13.

The role of the Head of Department is to provide effective leadership in their specific subject areas and to build a team which can provide high quality teaching and learning in the specific subject areas. They are responsible for raising student attainment and achievement within their curriculum areas.

Owing to ever greater demand for piano tuition, we are now seeking an additional piano teacher to join our large and highly successful keyboard faculty. A proven track record of success with beginners and early grades is essential in addition to the ability to work with high grade students. Our large team of instrumental specialists provide tuition to girls and boys aged 4 to 18. Loughborough Schools Foundation gained All-Steinway School status in 2015.
